The Award was created by The Nature Generation and Salisbury University, both members of the Children’s Book Guild, to promote books that inspire children to have a deeper appreciation, respect and responsibility for their natural environment. The annual award is given to books that raise awareness of the beauty of our natural world and the responsibility we have to protect it.
