Jennifer O’Connell's new book, The Eye of the Whale, brings to life the true story of a humpback whale disentanglement rescue that took place off the coast of California in 2005. Once freed, the whale’s rare and remarkable behavior toward the divers reflected a powerful connection and has been celebrated around the world.
Jennifer was recently interviewed on Channel 6, Portland, Maine. Enjoy the video here. Jennifer signed The Eye of the Whale at The Maine Coast Book Store in Damariscotta, the Books in Boothbay Festival and The Portland Children's Museum.
