In this holiday picture book, a family of five relocates right before Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. One thing after another goes wrong and they are afraid their year is off to a bad start. Then they are welcomed at synagogue by new friends and everything changes. The New York Times called the book "a pleasure to read."
